Every cell, the basic unit of life, has its own story to tell!

The secrets of health and disease are contained in the interplay of cells and the microenvironment and organ structure surrounding them. We focus on decoding disease mechanisms and trajectories through novel single-cell and spatial multi-omic approaches. Our lab at UKA RWTH Aachen works on establishing novel cellular disease mechanisms by extracting temporal and spatial information contained in patient samples.
